Dear new or prospective member of the League,
Please come to a Sunday, March 6 get-together for prospective members and members new to the League of Women Voters. Because 2016 is an election year and the League will be busy, we especially want to answer questions you may have about how you can participate in election activities or in the League’s annual, ongoing activities such as new studies of important issues, community workshops, and education forums.
We invite you to come on March 6 and learn more about what the League does and the many opportunities for involvement. You will meet members of the Board and others active in League activities. We encourage you to engage us and ask questions.
The reception is from 3-5pm on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Marcia Kingman will host at 5911 Walton Road, Bethesda, Maryland. Walton Road is off Old Georgetown Road (r. on Beech, r. on Singleton, l. on Walton) near the National Institutes of Health.
Please come, meet with us, and tell us your story. We would love your feedback on our “Making Democracy Work” efforts. Let us know if you are able to join us (301-984-9585 or [email protected]).
Sincerely,
Marcia Kingman and Marcia Bond
