Sign up for the Polling Place Support Program!!
The Montgomery County Board of Elections implements the Polling Place Support Program (PPSP) with assistance from the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County (LWVMC). Implemented by the Board of Elections (BOE) since the 1996 election cycle, this program has been recognized in the State and nationally as an important component of the overall assessment of in-person voting at polling places. This joint effort enables the League to assist the Board of Elections in assuring an efficient and fair election process at the polling places.
PPSP Volunteers will:
- Sign up, submit the PPSP Volunteer Questionnaire, and attend a 1.5 hour training session;
- Visit 3-5 assigned polling places on Election Day to conduct observations;
- Complete an evaluation form of each assigned polling place, including observations of the voter service and election judges’ adherence to the election procedures; and
- Attend the debriefing session on Monday, November 9, 2026
There are two steps to sign up for the program,
