Montgomery County Council Invites LWVMC For Women's History Month Proclamation Presentation

About this event

This year's theme is "Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future" and it highlights the powerful role women play in building stronger, more equitable communities. The event will also recognize the Council's forthcoming resolution in support of the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). Our League's very own Camille Brewer played an outsized role in bringing CEDAW into existence as well as bringing about this proclamation ceremony.
