LWVMC In Action: Your Guide to Getting More Involved in Our League

Empower Voters. Defend Democracy. This is the mission of the League of Women Voters at the national, state, and local levels.

Over the course of two 3-hour workshops, “LWVMC in Action: A Guide to Becoming More Involved in LWVMC,” covers how the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County (LWVMC) works to empower voters and defend democracy with voter registration and services, civic education and engagement programs and issues advocacy. Participants can expect to gain a deeper understanding of our mission, organization, how we are involved in our community, and ways to become more involved. Group discussions offer opportunities to share thoughts about our activities and programs, our current challenges and opportunities, and what members need from LWVMC leadership to be effective members.

Workshops will be held on November 1 and 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the LWVMC’s offices and on Zoom. Attending both workshops is very much encouraged but not required. These workshops are only available to members.
