What We Do

The Calendar Committee is responsible for publishing the regular LWVMC calendar every year and the pocket calendar every two years. The Calendar is one of the ongoing fundraising events for the League. The Calendar is a valuable source of contact information for national, state and local government officials, and it is a convenient guide to local government services. The Calendar Committee places calendars in several retail outlets across the county and tracks sales and monies. This year, the calendar was sold out by the end of December.

What We’re Keeping An Eye On

As more people rely on their smart phones for calendars, what is the role of paper calendars? Do we need to make a transition at some point?
